Abstract: The transexclusive discourse, supported by a «material reality», is increasingly legitimized in the media and in some feminist nuclei, in the same way that the parodies of the so-called «identity struggles» have been rekindled. This neo-conservatism within the left - far from being new - was already analyzed during the 90s onwards by various feminist theorists.
In the face of these divergences on the political left and in the face of the accelerated progress of neoliberalism, Rodrigo García Marina has decided to present the article «Marxism or the merely cultural», by Judith Butler, as a guide text for the development of the seminar in order to problematize the materialism and trying to understand it from a different place than the culture / materiality opposition. It will also analyze the way in which the so-called "politics of desire" respond to economic orders and how, curiously, these approaches were already found in classical Marxist sources. Through this reading we will be able to reveal the patent hybridization in orthodoxy through the limits of parody, as well as the exclusive limits of the unifying unit in front of the differential unit proposed within the reasons of postmodern political ontology.
